Coping with Death, Illness and Stressful Life EventsThe Norwell Public Schools will be hosting a free parent presentation entitled, "Coping with Death, Illness and Stressful Life Events: Strategies for Helping Children and Teens".

Department Links SEPAC: Special Education Parent Advisory Council Student Services is pleased to announce a new Cohasset Special Education Parent Advisory Council (Cohasset SEPAC) Board. New officers are Chair/President - Diane Herth, Vice-President - Kim Carvette, Treasurer - Claudia Russell, Secretary - Helane Childs, Out-of-District Liaison - Ann Demick, Osgood Liaison - Kim Whittmore. The new SEPAC has a website www.CohassetSEPAC.org, Twitter account 'CohassetSEPAC', and a new brochure. Please check the website often as new information and location of a South Shore speakers are added weekly. If you would like email blast notification of speakers twice a month please send your email to Diane Herth at CohassetSEPAC@Gmail.com . SEPAC will host 'First Tuesday of the Month' meetings... usually 7-9PM unless otherwise noted. See speakers on website and sign up for a reminder. The first meeting will be September 14th, 9:30-11:15AM at the Paul Pratt Library directly after Osgood School drop off time. Coffee and bagels will be served. Topic: “Is Special Education the Right Service? (How a student is identified as needing services, transitioning from Early Intervention to an Individual Education Plan or 504 plan, the range of services beyond the regular classroom, parent rights and procedural safeguards.)
